Jeff Bates brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to every home inspection. As a former home builder, he knows how... a home should function better than any other inspector i have used. He also knows that building codes change but, a common sense approach to explaining those changes is what most buyers and sellers need. As a realtor, I can't offer a stronger recommendation!read more

North Point Home Inspections, a company I found via google with solid recent reviews, turned out to be a gem that... certainly lives up to the hype. After our experiences with Jeff Bates and his wife Linda, I could not imagine using any other advisor.From the moment you walk in the door at the inspection and meet them, you feel as if you’ve already made the right decision, and treated in a very comforting and professional manner. In our case, the buyer’s inspection was unfamiliar territory and NPHI went above and beyond expectations to ensure that we were informed with knowledge about the process.Jeff will walk and talk you through the entire home and inform you of items as if he had lived there his whole life. He is very quick to provide more than adequate answers to any questions and honest in his responses. Given his career experience, his services and advice are worth their weight in gold.The detailed inspection report was delivered the same day, and with all of the unknown factors in buying a home, the timeliness is beyond appreciated and sets a new standard.It was extremely impressive that Jeff and his wife could compile such a detailed report in such a small time frame. The report was informative, inclusive of labeled pictures not only for potential repair items, but knowledge for general home specific day to day maintenance as well. The information was presented in a manner that was very user friendly and included the ability to send the seller a concise repair request list directly from the website.My wife and I will be referring all of our home acquiring friends and family to Jeff and NPHI so we know that they are well taken care of.read more

You can't go wrong with North Point. Experts in their field, Jeff goes above and beyond to make sure your property is... inspected thoroughly. Couldn't be more informative, walks you through everything and answers any questions. If you pay attention you might learn a thing or two, he really knows his stuff! There may be cheaper options, but you get what you pay for, they are worth every penny. As a first time home buyer, I was all ears as he walks you through every inch of your house, explains everything, and couldn't be nicer. They utilize all the cutting edge equipment and technology and the summary is very impressive. Don't hesitate to contact them for all your inspection needs.read more

We were in the process of purchasing a home with a guest house and Jeff with North Point Home Inspections was referred... to us from our realtor. Jeff showed up on time and was more than happy to go above and beyond to make sure that we were comfortable with the purchase.He walked my wife and I through the entire inspection, gave us advice on preventative maintenance, and clearly pointing out issues that were found.After the inspection Jeff sent two reports for the, one for the main house and one for the guest house, stating items that needed repair and location of maintenance items such as air filters, well water pumps, propane tanks, water heaters.We were more than happy with our experience with Jeff and would highly recommend him.read more
